At SevaRoots Foundation Trust, each rupee that is donated provides a building block to someone's recovery journey to health. Be it by donating medicines, health, or giving financial medical donations, we work to ensure that your funding directly impacts the people who are in the greatest need, efficiently, transparently, and compassionately.

Here are the ways, Your Medical donations are helping to make a real and measurable difference:

Medicines and Supplies

All your donations help us procure medicines which are needed the most, including antibiotics, antihistamines, fever relieving medications, basic first aid items, and also medications for chronic diseases (like diabetes and hypertension). These can be bought directly using your funds, or can be distributed when you donate medical kits, or medicine in-kind.

₹100: Can provide one patient with fever relief antibiotics

₹500: Can provide support for a full medical kit for a child, or elderly person

₹1,000: And equally, can cover all medications, and follow up for a family of 3 for common infections.

Health Camps and Check-Ups

We provide free health checkup camps in underserved areas of Delhi where we have free clinics, and doctors, nurses, and volunteers go for consultations, provide medicines to patients on-site, assess minor ailments, review vitals, and even do referrals for more serious cases. Camps are composed of 200-500 people at one time, most of whom have never seen a doctor before.

Medicine is given free immediately.

Helping the Vulnerable with Chronic Illness

We routinely find patients—particularly seniors or the disabled—who need monthly medicines for things like blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, etc.

Your medical donation enables us to:

Register these patients
Add to medicine refill on a monthly basis
Be part of their history or health journey over time

Emergency Medical Assistance

Some donations are kept aside in a Rapid Response Fund to enable quick action when an urgent request is received. Whether it is a sick child who needs hospitalization, or a construction worker who has gotten injured on site, we can provide rapid assistance for a short term.

₹2,000–₹5,000 will help stabilize the critical situation and link patients to public hospitals or government interventions.

Awareness and Education

A portion of the health donation is also used to do some social work like supporting printed materials, awareness sessions, and prevention education on health. We educate communities on hygiene and nutrition, management and control of chronic health conditions, and more—as sometimes knowledge is medicine itself.

Diagnostic Help

If there is a need for basic blood work, urine pulls or scans, your donation to help with medical support enables us to use those funds for testing. We find people in many areas literally can’t afford ₹300–₹800 for a test, and thus end up in preventable complications.

₹300 – Will do blood work for one person.

₹800–₹1,500 – Will do ultrasound or chest X-rays in urgent situations.
